Accurate GPA calculation for both Science and Management streams based on official NEB grading system
Calculate your GPA for Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Computer, Mathematics, English, and Nepali subjects.
Calculate your GPA for Accountancy, Economics, Business Studies, Mathematics, English, and Nepali subjects.
Our GPA calculator is specifically designed for Grade 12 students under the National Examination Board (NEB) of Nepal. It accurately computes your GPA based on the official NEB grading system, taking into account both theory and practical components for both Science and Management streams.
Key features that make our calculator the most reliable choice:
GPA = (∑(Credit Hour × Grade Point)) / (Total Credit Hours)
Final Grade = Weighted average of Theory and Practical components
Grade | Grade Point | Percentage Range | Description |
---|---|---|---|
A+ | 4.0 | 90-100% | Outstanding |
A | 3.6 | 80-89% | Excellent |
B+ | 3.2 | 70-79% | Very Good |
B | 2.8 | 60-69% | Good |
C+ | 2.4 | 50-59% | Above Average |
C | 2.0 | 40-49% | Average |
D | 1.6 | 30-39% | Below Average |
NG | 0.0 | Below 30% | Non-Graded |
Note: The final grade is calculated based on weighted average of theory (75%) and practical (25%) components, except for Computer Science which has 50% theory and 50% practical.
Our calculator is 100% accurate and built using the official NEB (National Examination Board) grading system for both Science and Management streams. It ensures correct GPA output based on subject-wise credit hours and grades.
For Science stream: Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Computer Science, Mathematics, English, and Nepali.
For Management stream: Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, Optional Math or Marketing/Hotel Management, English, and Nepali.
Science subjects generally follow a 75% theory and 25% practical split (except Computer Science which is 50-50). Management subjects are mostly theory-based with 100% theory in most cases.
NG indicates that the student did not secure the minimum grade required. It is considered 0.0 in GPA calculation and will affect the final result. A retake is necessary to pass the subject.
